Dookie Farms 2000 Project Fund
It is our vision to see a redesign of the Dookie Campus landscape, to ensure it becomes the premier agricultural learning and research institution within Australia and acknowledged throughout the world as an essential part of an important global University. Incorporating a productive and profitable farm, with a range of enterprises, Dookie Campus will be an integrated part of the educational process, at the leading edge of technological and environmental innovation.
Mr Peter Tallis established the Dookie Farms 2000 Project Fund to raise a target pool of $10 million. The interest from the funds raised will be used to initiate ongoing research programs into innovative, profitable and productive farming systems. Profitability and sustainability will be achieved by the integration of enterprises across the landscape focusing on quality assurance, innovative production techniques, business and marketing management performance, all balanced with environmental consideration. Utilising and building on solid partnerships and foundations within Dookie Campus, this existing industry advisory groups will continue to establish and develop benchmark procedures and ensure conformance with industry standards.
