Orchard
The orchard is located on the southern slopes of Mount Major. It includes 7.7 hectares of apricots, peaches, plums and Pink Lady apples which are sold to local packers and processors. The Orchard of the 21st Century block was established in 2001 with funding and support from local industry, the Agriculture Advancing Australia Farm Innovation Program (AFFA) and the ILFR Trust. It demonstrates and is a research trial for a state-of-the-art orchard production system and irrigation technology , and is 1.4 hectares.
